Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
