2K Games has welcomed a seasoned producer from the creators of Apex Legends to direct the development team at their internal studio, which is currently working on the forthcoming over-the-shoulder action-packed title known as Project Ethos.
Leadership Shift Follows Poor Response
The new appointee steps into the role of studio head at the development studio following the exit of former leader the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing unveiling last fall.
Recently, 2K president David Ismailer informed team members about this decision through an official communication, which stressed that playtesting had revealed the need for a distinct direction.
The president stated that the developers is now reimagining the project with a refreshed approach, aiming to better meet community desires.
